The Dirty on Green by Daisy Carlson

Who came up with Green Washing? Its really the Dirty on Green!
Its time to come clean and third party systems know it. Make it easy on
yourself if you are planning on being a dirty greener and look at yourself in the mirror.
Take the eye patch off first. What do you see there? A hero, a hobo, a dumb Joe. Getting green
is getting smart and a smart person knows you can buy
anything except for your integrity; squander that and you are poor. Stop pirating the
system, take off that silly eye patch and see the beauty of true green.
If you need genuine answers to get really clean and really green hire
a CLEAN GREEN DESIGNER to fix you up and help you to be more efficient.
Save money and make MORE. More Air, More Water, More Habitat and stop
being a poor dumb dirty pirate. Get real, get clean get super Green.

Make a difference with Wind and lunch.

I've been worried that we are not investing enough in wind and solar and with oil prices falling how would we motivate
enough capital investments to gain vital traction. Well www.RenewableChoice.com/make-a-difference-with-wind.html has a pretty neat plan. Purchasing carbon offsets for your family that invest in wind technology could help.

I have been partnering with Whole Foods in the Bay Area and LA on the Rwanda School Lunch program. My images show exactly how Carbon neutral Rwanda is. 90% of the population is living on less than a dollar a day in a country where plastic bags are illegal,on a primarily vegetarian diet. If you have some Carbon debt I recommend offsetting it. Buying a reusable shopping bag that provides 25 lunches from your local wholefoods is a great carbon credit and gift to give to raise awareness. They have now provided over 2 million lunches which keep kids in school and give you a carbon credit.
My book RWANDA ON YOUR HEAD has pics. of everyday life in Rwanda andthe crazy stuff they carry on their heads. Check it out at, www.CharmingTheWorld.co., Its a great book for US children, when they see what other kids have to put up with they are often more grateful for the lives they have. Not a bad idea during the holiday season. Teaching satifaction and gratefulness is a gift of happiness for a lifetime.

Sustainable Design by Daisy Carlson

Stanford's Sustainable Design bus-183 taught by Mark Martin from www.design4x.com inspired students to come up with some great design ideas to enhance sustainability.
Life Cycles, reusability and using less to have more were just a few of the exciting topics. An estimated 80% of our environmental footprints are decided at the early stages of design. It is very important to Design with Nature, Innovate with nature, Learn how to create abundance with out waste in the process. I truly enjoyed this class which became a conversation that may not end in our lifetime. Join us in creating exciting answers to serious issues. I suggest that we Thrive by designing sustainable solutions for the 80% of the worlds population who are currently under served. Good design can end poverty, restore systems and create More for our children's future. Sound fun? Lets get to work!

This class inspired many ideas here are just a few.

How to stimulate efficiencies in recycling batteries?
How to make furniture from sustainable Cork?
How to express environmental costs at point of purchase?
How to heat your home with affordable Solar Panel?
How to vacation with all your senses with out leaving your bedroom?
How to change the psychology of politics to become more sustainable?
How to invite progress with Green Plastics?

Trashy by Daisy Carlson

What a trashy idea to make stuff that you throw away, wrap it in more stuff that you throw away, and then mix it all together with every body else's stuff that they throw away. Trashy I tell you its trashy.

Nature on the other hand is elegant. She is high class and sexy. She takes care of her household with out waste, provides abundantly for the entire network.

Its not cool to be trashy.
